About Us

Townsville Gymnastic Association Incorporated (trading as Gymnastics Townsville) was incorporated in December 1996. Prior to this, Gymnastics Townsville had successfully operated as the Gymnastics section of the Townsville Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association for 28 years.

Gymnastics Townsville is a not for profit community based sporting club dedicated to providing a wide range of quality gymnastics programs for the youth of the Townsville community. Gymnastics Townsville is the largest gymnastics club in North Queensland, with over 800 gymnasts ranging in age from 2 to 32 yrs. This figure does not include physical education classes conducted for primary and high schools, classes for physically and intellectually disabled children or programs tailored specifically for local day care centres. All members are registered with Gymnastics Queensland, the governing body of the sport in this state, as required under the affiliation regulations of the sport of gymnastics.

Gymnastics Townsville prides itself on the quality and success of the programs in all disciplines and its record of results.
